10 Things.......

 


  1. Abi likes Fate The Winx Saga and Cobra Kai series.  
  2. Lewis is a student at Coleg y Cymoedd studying Creative Media. He is interested in the video and photo editing side of Creative Media and working to become a Videographer. This started from his love of Film, TV and Music.    
  3. Tyler's bedroom has become so crowded by his plants that he can't look through his own window as the plants are at the front and centre stage!
  4. Michael is 18, he has brown eyes and brown hair. He has one younger brother. He lives in Wales in a town called Caerphilly. He plays video games and watches anime. He creates his own stories and reads manga. He's currently reading The Quintessential Quintuplets.     
  5. Miran likes doing photography and drawing, he enjoys taking photos in open spaces. Miran started getting interested in art when he started making a Diary of a Wimpy Kid drawing to show his class. He has improved and progressed further through his learning and ambition to get better every day.
  6. Gruff enjoys listening to The Beach Boys and watching their performances online.                              
  7. Cody Cody likes to do covers on his keyboard. Cody does this because it's has got him through tough times and he just loves music. Cody got his keyboard about 2 years ago at Christmas. He likes to cover old songs like Harper valley PTA, Jailhouse Rock, She’s Always a Woman and Coward of the County 
  8. Ange is following 30 day yoga course on YouTube and is realising how inflexible she is!
  9. Connor is very good artist, especially animation. Connor started drawing Sonic The Hedgehog at the age of 7 because he liked the bold colours and his art work has progressed from there. Connor draws every day to improve his skills for his ambition to eventually draw portraits.                                    


  10. Jo is an artist and has started learning how to make her own inks from plants that she grows on her allotment or has foraged in the hedgerows. This is a picture of Elderberry ink that she made with elderberries harvested from her plot during the Autumn and kept in her freezer.  She is also trying to learn calligraphy because, she says her handwriting is awful!

It looks like lockdown is slowly lifting, plus spring in the air. There's a little glimmer of light and positivity at the end of this long, Corona filled tunnel. What are you looking forward to? Lewis -  After Lockdown, I will be looking forward to simply leaving the house.  I don’t mind where I go, I will even be happy to wander around in open space.  It’s been a bit boring just staying in the house, because there is not a lot to do when you are stuck inside.  I’ve been shielding since about March 2020, so nearly a whole year.  I don’t mind even if I’m out for an hour.  I’m looking forward to feeling the sun on my face and fresh air.   Gruff    -  Buying things on Amazon defi nitely  has its benefits ,  but how long are you willing to go on  shopping just on a screen?  Don’t you wish you could go into any shop you liked, have a look around and  be able to buy whatever?  It sounds like such  exci...

  This half term feels different. No holidays, no cinema or day trips booked, no catch up over a Boulies cuppa with friends.  After a difficult start to 2021 and a long half term doing a brilliant job of engaging in online lessons (👏👏), we've come up with 10 things to make your well earned week off feel like a break. 10 things to do in Half Term when you're in Lockdown.   Cody - Plan a Movie night  While we’re all locked down, we need stuff to do. Why not plan a movie night? It's a fun way to take time off technology and just chill with the family. Me and my family do this a lot especially when we’ve had a long day because its a fun way to wind down. Choose a day, a time, get the popcorn ready, pick a  film,  and sit down together to watch it.
